COVID-19 Update from the Farm

Hello to our dear farm members and friends,

We are working in every way we can to find ways to offer fresh food safely as everything changes. Our goal is to get you to produce as directly as possible, with the fewest people and handling steps in the chain from field to you. Agriculture has been designated as an essential service and we are moving forward.

 

 Food Safety:

At the farm, we follow food safety protocols all the time to keep your produce safe, and we maintain GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) food safety certification, with regular farm inspections by state officials. We also have extra steps in place right now to help keep things clean and keep our workers and community healthy.

We will open the other part of our farm. Farm tours and petting farm. We will follow ALL protocol recommendations. We will wear our mask and provide handwashing stations throughout the farm. We shall practice social distancing and sanitize areas of use as much as possible.

 

Our Protocols:

1. All hands should be washed before and after touching animals.

2. One person in the store with an employee at a time.

3. No more than 10 people congregating in one place. Such as playgrounds and sandbox or around critters.

4. Social distancing from folks not in your group. (6ft. Rule).

These are all common sense things. We will do our part to help you and your family stay safe and still be able to enjoy the farm, but it will also be helpful if you to help the cause as well.
